What Is ULTRAKILL?

ULTRAKILL is the kind of video game that you might consider brutal and bloody. It is an old-school first-person shooter (FPS) where movement, aggression, and style are as important as aim. Blood is the energy or the power that fuels you. To kill your enemies at close range is a way of healing you, thus giving the player the advantage of brutal and daring gameplay. In this game, you are not allowed to sneak away; you are to run fast with guns, juggle weapons, and grab the air while making crazy combos.

Story & Setting: Blood Is the New Power

There are no men left alive. Only machines are left.

Since the blood of the Earth is about to finish, every machine runs to Hell for more.

You are among them—a machine that has been weaponized and is powered by blood. Your task:

Go down to Hell, kill all the living things there, and live on blood.

Demons, undead, and rival machines will continuously come at you. But you shouldn't either.

Hyper-Mobility Combat

ULTRAKILL is all about never stopping:

• Slide, dash, jump on walls, and use rockets
  
• Be unpredictable and always in the air
  
• Run through enemies at great speeds without being caught
  

Devastating Weapons System

Each gun has several different kinds and alt-fires:

• Pistols, shotguns, nailers, and railcannons
  
• Options based on explosion and precision
  
• Fast swapping of weapons is the trick to making combos
  

Blood = Health

Enemy killing should be done closely and at a fast rate. You will be helped according to the amount of blood you absorb.

The more quickly and showily you kill, the more your Style Rank increases:

• Killing by chain
  
• Mixing of weapons
  
• Aggressive playing
• Never ceasing
